Data controller

Data processed and purposes

The website is a static information page: it contains no registration or contact forms and does not collect users' personal data. Those who write to the email addresses shown voluntarily provide their contact details and the information contained in the message; such data are processed exclusively to respond to the request and for the management of any resulting professional relationship.

Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (art. 6, para. 1, letter b, GDPR) and the controller's legitimate interest in responding to communications received (art. 6, para. 1, letter f). Provision of the data is optional; without it, the request cannot be followed up.

Technical browsing data

The website is hosted on the GitHub Pages infrastructure of GitHub, Inc. As with any web service, the systems delivering the website may record technical access data (IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type) for security purposes and for the proper functioning of the service, in accordance with the provider's notice (GitHub General Privacy Statement). The controller does not have access to such data in identifiable form and does not use them. Aggregate visit statistics are processed by Umami Software, Inc. as data processor (privacy policy): the data collected (page visited, referrer, device type, country) are aggregated and do not allow the data subject to be identified. Any transfer of data to non-EU countries takes place with the safeguards provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR.

Cookies

The website does not use cookies, either its own or third-party, and does not use profiling or advertising tracking tools. The contact page contains a map provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation: it does not install cookies, but it involves the browser connecting to the foundation's servers, which may record the IP address for technical and statistical purposes in accordance with the relevant notice (osmfoundation.org). Umami is used solely to measure visits: an aggregate statistics tool that does not install cookies, does not store information on the user's device and does not allow individual visitors to be identified or their browsing on other sites to be tracked. Since no cookies or other identifiers stored on the device are used, consent is not required under art. 122 of D.Lgs 196/2003 and no banner is displayed. The link to Google Maps in the Contact section opens an external service only upon the user's voluntary action, subject to the privacy rules of the respective operator.

Retention

Data from communications received are retained for the time necessary to handle the request and, in the case of a professional relationship, for its duration and for the periods required by legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Recipients

The data are not disseminated. They may be accessed by the company's staff and collaborators authorised to process them and by technical service providers (email, hosting) acting as data processors or as independent controllers.

Rights of the data subject

The rights provided for in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) may be exercised at any time by writing to the controller's contacts. It is also possible to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
